May Movement Highlight: Safe Space through Movement + Urban Body at Natural Measures

Join us for an exploration of trauma-informed wellness and fun movement with Natural Measures, as we highlight them for May Movement.

Vikki Gladney is the owner of Natural Measures and founder of Safe Space Through Fitness, a trauma-informed wellness initiative rooted in compassion, movement, and holistic health. A certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Vikki integrates strength training, mobility, and functional movement to support physical and emotional healing. Her core wellness approach emphasizes muscle development, joint fluidity, and flexibility, helping individuals build strength, reduce pain, and move with greater ease and confidence.

Vikki’s journey into fitness began in 2018 after undergoing surgery, which led to her becoming a certified indoor cycling coach and launching Natural Measures in 2020. Recognizing the deep connection between physical wellness and emotional recovery, she later founded Safe Space Through Fitness, a nonprofit that empowers individuals to overcome self-condemnation, limiting beliefs, and the lasting effects of trauma.

As a survivor of childhood trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence, Vikki brings lived experience to her work, creating spaces where clients feel safe, supported, and seen. In addition to movement coaching, she offers nutrition education and management strategies, helping clients develop sustainable habits that align with their goals for strength, balance, and overall well-being. Through every session, Vikki remains committed to helping others become the strongest, healthiest, and most empowered version of themselves.
