Understanding Gender Inequity presented by shehive

Its very important as women that we know how the intersections of gender and race impacts our health and well-being.  This workshop will encourage discussion about gender inequity, address ways to identify gender inequity in our personal spaces, and provide resources and tools continue the conversation.

This interactive workshop will be led by Elle Roberts of shehive.  

Fee: FREE, 18 and over

About shehive:

shehive is a grassroots project creating safe spaces to deconstruct gender inequity. Elle Roberts founded the project in March 2014 after launching the first women317 show with partner Reese Maryam to celebrate Women's History Month. Since then, over sixty artists graced the women317 stage with spoken word, song, dance, visual art and stories; and dozens of women engage in buzzwords workshops and monthly meetups.
