If you filled out an interest form for 2025 programming, thank you. Now that we have dates confirmed, we are releasing the official application. If you have indicated interest or are interested in attending any Deep Dive sessions please complete the official application to receive your stipend. Stipends are awarded to participants after successful completion and attendance of all deep dives you have registered for. If you have any conflicts to attend please contact Selina Tillman, 317-560-4019 to discuss accommodations. 

Mini-grants. Please be mindful that a separate application for mini-grant (3) $5,000, (10) $1,000 awards and up to $400 for fee assistance for licenses or certifications towards your food business or project will be sent soon, once it goes live. 

Certification or License Fee Assistance. As mentioned we will be assisting with fees associated with your food business certifications or licensing, this includes business entity registrations or renewals for up to $400 for your food business or project.

Connections 4 Wellness. If you indicated in the interest form that you would like to be connected to health resources you will be receiving information from Jessica Phillips, your connections 4 wellness liaison who will assist you in getting your wellness needs met to the best of her ability. If you have not indicated, but would like to please indicate that in this application when asked. 

Deep Dives: Our forthcoming deep dive capacity building workshops will offer more extensive training in areas that need further support by the Neighborhood Food Builders. These workshops will include in-depth sessions on Grant Writing and Resource Development (3 workshops), Volunteer Recruitment and Retention (2 workshops), Project Management (5 workshops), and Procurement from  local farms and food businesses (2 workshops), Business Plan Development (3 workshops). Each topic listed above is it’s own deep dive workshop series.

• (15) deep dives total; (5) different workshops

• Select Deep Dives of interest below- only required to attend the deep dives you apply for

• Each workshop is a series- there may be 2-5 sessions depending on the workshop topic

• $50 for each deep dive series you attend for full deep dive workshop completion- attend ALL sessions you register for

An opportunity for NFB to dive deeper in capacity building for your business/project through hands on workshops and monetary support. The goal is for you to walk away with tangible assets!
