Introducing: Family and Youth Programs
CWUW has programs that support the 7 Dimensions of Wellness for youth to prepare them for living healthy lives. As we talk with their parents, we also want to make sure their children are getting these important messages.
7 Dimensions of Wellness, 7 Dimensions of You:
7 Week Program
To assist the participant in defining and identifying ways to maintain a healthy, well-balanced life by utilizing the 7 Dimensions of Wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, occupational, and environmental wellness),the participants will examine their own perceived wellness vs actual wellness through a series of activities that will help them to build their knowledge, skills, and attitudes about wellness leading to healthier decision making and lifestyle changes.
If you want additional information about the 7 Dimensions of Wellness, 7 Week Program, visit our staff section and contact Crystal Smitherman or Tracy Cork. (middle school - adult)

Comprehensive Health Management Program:
Components of Sisters Together
CWUW walks every Saturday morning on the Canal at 8am (at Circle Centre Mall from Nov-Mar).
CWUW believes its important to help women to coordinate their health services and to support them on their journey for total health. Health Management and Resource Coordination (HMRC) will assist women in locating needed services throughout Marion County, develop a prevention care plan working with medical providers, assist in scheduling appointments, tracking services, and helping women to maintain their medical records.
More than Case Management, HMRC is a support system for women to Live Life Well.
Based on the National Community Centers of Excellence on Women's Health model.
Its not only fundraiser but a concert, an art show, and simply an opportunity for friends to come together to have a good time in a safe, healthy environment!
Center of Wellness for Urban Women (CWUW) believes that social health and wellness activities are vital to total health for women and their families. Having positive relationships with family and friends helps in keeping your emotional and physical health in check.
Social health and wellness also incorporates leisure and fun activities that keep you balanced and rejuvenated.
