Art, in its truest form, should be the pure manifestation of the contents of one’s soul and creative mind. As a true artist, Sah Ril is able to communicate his inner most thoughts through a simple melody or phrase.

Transcending the ideals of many popular, mass produced, “musicians” today, he attempts to challenge his listeners with new ideas..

Not just a creator, Sah is an innovator as well.. Drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of sources including early hip-hop, world culture, indie rock, politics, funk, religion, 80’s pop, and even folk; he proves that true art is not confined by the limits of genre, race, class, or sex…

Sah dares to experiment and take chances to express himself. He does this by taking charge of all components in his works. In the spirit of his greatest musical influences, Sah gives his fans something they can relate to and enjoy-while seeking to continue the tradition of true artistry in music….http://www.sahril.com

Perhaps the most introspective rapper since Slim Shady, iLL uses rhyme patterns reminiscent of Andre 3000 crossed with Ludacris to speak on what it really means to live.

iLL's current project "Mixed Messages" offers a unique look at how something good can come out of the hood.
